The Rehabilitation Services Department at Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN), in
observance of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, would like to
remind the community of a new service that can help patients diagnosed
with breast cancer. The rehabilitation department is available to
educate the patient on the prevention of lymphedema, which is swelling
of the limbs that can occur after the removal of lymph nodes, and with
or without radiation. For more information on this program, or other
