South Windsor Chamber Annual Meeting Celebrates Success and Transitions Leadership

South Windsor Chamber Annual Meeting Celebrates Success and Transitions Leadership

South Windsor Chamber Annual Meeting Celebrates Success and Transitions Leadership

The South Windsor Chamber Annual Meeting, held on Tuesday, September 19th, proved to be a momentous occasion, marked by camaraderie, appreciation, and significant transitions. Hosted at the picturesque Evergreen Crossings Retirement Community, the event began with the Annual Meeting segment, setting the stage for a new chapter in the Chamber’s history.

The Annual Meeting served as a platform to extend warm welcomes to incoming board members while expressing heartfelt gratitude to returning and outgoing members. It was a moment to acknowledge the dedicated individuals who contribute to the Chamber’s continued success.

One of the most poignant moments of the morning was the symbolic passing of the torch from the remarkable outgoing President, Colleen Sullivan, to the new President, Vasanth Kainkaryam. Colleen’s leadership over the past year was nothing short of exceptional, and her commitment to the Chamber’s mission was evident to all.

The Chamber also proudly welcomed four new board members, each bringing their unique expertise and passion to the table. Chris Lemieux, representing Red Heat Tavern, Sara Tuller from Hartford Truck Equipment, Lynette Espinosa, and Kim Lachapelle from The Max Challenge have all joined the Chamber’s leadership, promising fresh perspectives and innovative ideas for the future.

As with any transition, there were heartfelt farewells to cherished members who had contributed significantly during their tenures. Stacy Camiros from Webster Bank, John Barber of CHH Engraving, Inc., and Annie Mohanty representing New York Life, received warm send-offs and expressions of gratitude for their dedicated service.

The event was not all business, though. After the formalities, attendees had the opportunity to mingle and network, fostering connections that are at the heart of the Chamber’s mission. Delicious breakfast fare, meticulously prepared by the gracious hosts at Evergreen Crossings, added a delightful touch to the gathering.

In closing, the South Windsor Chamber expressed profound appreciation for the unwavering support from its members and the community. With such a strong foundation and a dynamic new leadership team in place, the Chamber eagerly anticipates the exciting prospects that the upcoming year will bring.

As the Chamber embarks on this new journey, the commitment to promoting local businesses, fostering connections, and contributing to the vibrancy of South Windsor remains unwavering. The 2023-2024 term promises to be one filled with growth, opportunity, and community collaboration.

The South Windsor Chamber extends its gratitude to all who attended, participated, and continue to support its mission. Together, the future looks bright, and the Chamber is eager to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.
