Bring your print materials to our office! Our lobby is a great resource full of business cards, flyers, brochures, etc. These materials are open to the public for taking – that means your next client could be looking for you at our office! We have hundreds of people through our doors every month. Make sure you’re business is represented!

Participate in the Member to Member Rewards Program! Offer fellow Chamber members discounts and rewards on your goods or services to generate local business. Discounts are available to all Chamber member businesses and their employees.
Morning Networking Events & Speaking opportunities
Attend our networking events twice per month! Networking is a great way to make personal connections, and learn more about another business face to face. You never know who may be attending… they could be your next best connection! Join fellow Chamber members for morning networking! Exchange laughs, leads, testimonials, and business cards!
When: Every second and fourth Friday of the month at the Chamber office 7:45-9:00 AM
Opportunities: Present your business to eager networking entrepreneurs.
Each Friday morning Business Networking Group meeting features a 10-minute presentation by a Chamber member. There are also other speaker engagements available for you to submit a proposal for.
After Hours Networking Events
Host an event at your office location or one of our spaces available to the Chamber to promote insightful conversation, yourself, your business, and more. Many of our members will host an event at their location, or use a common space. Some entrepreneurs like to network after the work day, when they can put aside the day-to-day operations of their business and focus on connections, friendships, and more.
E-NEWs Submission & Publication
Submit 2-4 sentences into our biweekly member e-Newsletter! A logo file can also be submitted. The member e-Newsletter is distributed to thousands of contacts from our email database every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. All you need to do is submit your write-up to firstname.lastname@example.org by the first or third Tuesday of the month and we’ll publish your submission as often as once a month if requested!
Let us help you with your press releases. We can send your press release to our media contact list to help give you extra exposure for the news you’d like to share. If you don’t know how to write a press release, we can help you!
Publishing is at the discretion of the newspaper.
Is your business hosting an event you’d like to share with the South Windsor community? Send your event information to email@example.com and we will post your information within our calendar for the entire community to see. Our calendar gets thousands of views. Make sure your event is seen and well attended!
Membership Directory Listing
All Chamber members receive a free listing as part of our membership directory on the website. This site is visited by members, business owners, and potential customers from our community and people looking for services coming to the area. Additionally, having your business listed with us can increase your web exposure and improve your Search Engine Optimization because of the high quality listing. With the launch of our new website in Jan 2019, our member directory will be available to the public as they search by name or category.
Constant Contact Discount
The South Windsor Chamber of Commerce participates in a chamber program with Constant Contact, which entitles our members to receive an additional 10% discount off of account fees. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to be signed up for the discount.
Job Posting and Job Searches
The Chamber has an expansive reach. If you’re looking to make new hires, contact us along the way. We’re a great resource to help guide you in finding the right type of employees. We have staffing members, publication opportunities, and even host job fairs. Hiring is much more difficult in today’s competitive labor markets. Let the chamber work for you and help you find the right candidates.
Member SpotLight & Social Media Exposure
The Member Spotlight program gives two members each month a chance to be Member Spotlight winner and gain free exposure in the weekly e-newsletter, Chamber office bulletin board and on social media with the chosen member’s bio and logo that will run for two weeks. Two members are picked out of a hat at the first Morning Business Networking Meeting of the month to be represented the following month. Also, the Chamber can help promote your business on social media by sharing your post to all of your and our followers. Additional Membership Benefits
Realize a tax deduction – Chamber membership is 95% tax deductible as a business expense according to the IRS.
The chamber offers a series of classes to help members learn ways to run their business more efficiently and to stay up to date with regulations and best practices. Upcoming topics include Tax Changes for 2019 and Employment Laws.
Let the Chamber be your eyes and ears at the local and State levels of government. As the premier business organization in South Windsor, the Chamber participates in local town meetings and is able to keep its membership updated on actions that may impact their business. At the State level, we’ve also got you covered. Andrew E. Markowski, Esq., with Statehouse Associates, LLC, has his eye on what is happening in Hartford. Our membership is updated twice monthly with eBlast updates that include the latest business happenings in the State Legislature.
Workforce Partnership Program
Goodwin College offers members in good standing with the Chamber a 25% tuition discount on select degree programs. This discount can be offered to all your employees, as long as the business pays a full Chamber membership. Contact us for more detailed information.
Mentors are available to meet with you and assist you with your business questions. S.C.O.R.E. is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping small business with education and mentoring.
Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies
Have you opened a new business in town? Are you looking to make a big splash with your new business venture or expansion? We’ll bring people to the door to make sure you hit the ground running.
Volunteer to be on a committee to help plan an event! Being on a committee gets your name into the business community and gives you a leadership role at the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce. As part of a committee you have the opportunity to work with a few select members for an event or endeavor. We have approximately 10 significant events throughout the year, and other smaller events on a monthly basis. Great minds make our events even more successful and it exposes you to other great leaders in the community. Many of our volunteers learn from each other, young and seasoned.

For a minimal fee, you can add your brand and promotion to the packet and reach hundreds of new customers throughout the year. These two paid opportunities are a great option to leverage our network and expand yours. For $150, your business will be able to promote whatever event, sale, new product, etc. that you wish. This email can be sent on any date, at any time that best fits your business. It is distributed to thousands of email contacts which has a high open rate because of our trusted name. There is no other information in this email to dilute your message, as it’s completely yours!
Often, companies choose to double down on their exposure and have the Chamber send them their most up – to – date mailing list so they can produce a mailing. We have graphic designers and printers available for discounted rates through the Chamber as well, so your message can be seamlessly delivered across all mediums.
