The Chamber offers a variety of community based events in addition to our members events. Throughout the year we sponsor the Greater Hartford Women’s Conference, an annual golf tournament, ribbon cutting celebrations for new businesses, a restaurant exposition, a local job fair and much more. On a monthly basis we have after hours networking events, and AM coffee and breakfast meetings. Additionally, we have SCORE counseling available every month for members to help their businesses succeed within the every-changing business climate.

The Chamber has proven to be a valuable commodity for my business and me personally. My grandfather, Ed Havens, helped found the South Windsor Chamber 50 years ago, and it’s helped grow our business into what it is today. From his encouragement, I’ve joined the Board and learned how to capitalize on the resources the Chamber offers to continue to grow our business into the 21st century.
I joined the SW Chamber of Commerce in 1983 and I’ve had the privilege of severing on several committees and on the Board of Directors. Like any volunteer organization you get out of it what you put into it. I would recommend to any business in our community to join and participate in the chambers activities.
